Organic Seeds

Franchi Seeds were established in 1783, when the current owner’s great great great great great grandfather began selling seeds from his horse drawn cart in the local market in Piacenza, Italy. The company is now based in Bergamo and is the oldest family run seed company in the world. They produce many traditional Italian vegetable varieties from original Franchi stock, virtually all of which are still produced in Italy, many in their own regions. They are the only seed brand in the UK to be approved by the Vegetarian Society. The packets are generously filled with seeds.
