Wooden Toys

Beautifully made wooden toys in traditional and enduring designs that encourage creativity. The wood for these toys is sustainably grown European hardwood, mainly alder, lime, maple and cherry and is finished in safe natural oils and water-based eco-dyes. Wood is a wonderfully stimulating material for childrens toys, it has texture and changes in grain and colour. Different pieces have individual sounds and weights and, unlike metal or plastic, have a warmth when they are held. Wood is naturally resistant to bacteria.
