Natural Cot Mattress

We handmake our cot mattresses here in our workshop in Manchester. We use a core of coconut fibre (coir) coated with pure latex, wrap it in organic British wool and cover it all with a thick, unbleached organic cotton fabric. The finished mattress is safe, natural and free from any foams, plastics or fire retardants. The coir-latex gives the mattress a springy, supportive core and the wool is a perfect comfort layer, allowing air to circulate whilst building up a cosy, gentle warmth. The natural fibre content means that the mattress is breathable and moisture absorbing making it an ideal place for your baby to sleep right through the night!
You can also choose to add a removable cover in organic cotton that can be machine washed at 60 degrees or a waterproof overlay in soft, brushed organic cotton (£22.00).
